Commit the contents of this document to memory. I will give each of you an oral exam on this document. Your possible scores are binary: 100% if you answer all of my questions correctly, completely, and without hesitation; 0% otherwise.

Homework Assignments: Assigned 8/22

All of your homework assignments for the semester are posted on MyStatLab. You may complete the assignments ahead of time, but I will not accept late assignments. For each chapter, I require you to study, and will quiz you on, all of the material in the chapter, regardless of whether or not I cover the material in class. Important: MyStatLab assignments are not posted on the class website. You must go to MyStatLab to find the due dates.

Assignment #1: Assigned 8/22, Due 8/26

Your assignments for this course will be on MyStatLab. Register for MyStatLab as soon as possible. The course code is listed at the top of this page. A registration key comes packaged with your text. It is your responsibility to register and familiarize yourself with the software by 8/26. Your first assignment is due on 8/29, I will begin posting assignments. An inability to initialize your account, to log on to the system, to operate the software, and to monitor the site for assignments are not acceptable reasons for missing an assignment deadline. I will make no allowances for network outages. If you wait until the last moment to complete an assignment and then encounter a network outage or computer failure, the fundamental problem was procrastination, not hardware failure.
